Andrew and I have been pals for years. We met at Recycled Records on Haight Street way back when and our lives musically and otherwise have overlapped ever since. When he told me he was moving to Vancouver to study wildlife, I had no choice but to get him in the ring for Podcast Mac II at the Argus Lounge. I looked forward to trading vinyl punches with Andrew and was not disappointed….. After the bell rang, Andrew came out swinging, and set the pace with a steady mix of 7” treasures from the Rush vault. Andrew had the slight advantage as he grew up in Cincinnati and came from like a family of sixteen kids—his ever expanding collection of singles dates back to his big brother who worked for a King record distributor in Ohio in the 60’s and brought home one-off’s by the dozen.
