SITES & SOUNDS

Folks,

Okay, I've got some SOLO SHOWS. Check the gigsville listings below for all the up-to-dates.

Meanwhile, I filmed a travel show for Southwest Air and Luck Reunion. A kind of Anthony Bourdain styled show where you can ride shotgun with me and Aaron Lee Tasjan through the backstreets of San Francisco. Now, the people who follow this newsletter know I've been threatening to do a cooking show for some time now. A how-to-cook-in-the-van kind of jam. How to Cook In Your Room. Easy Recipes For the Touring Musician. That kind of thing.

Well, this show... it's not quite that. But it's not some insidious internet trash either. It's got some real production values. The Luck Reunion team are brilliant. I think you'll like it. And say what you will about corporate America. Southwest Air, to their credit, pretty much let us have our way with it. I mean, I don't know if they will be adopting "High As Johnny Thunders" as their new campaign song any time soon. But, they let us do our thing. Then again, I think it would make a great ad. Everyone wants to feel like Johnny Thunders 30,000 feet above Burbank, am I right?

Sure, San Francisco is being taken over by predatory content grabbing micro bloggers, OK Boomer merch peddlers, tech nerds, brogrammers, VC's, drones, and opportunistic real estate developers. [Not to mention the hordes of homeless who are ruining it for those 1% who've worked so hard]. But, don't let anyone tell you San Francisco is over. It's an amazing feat of a city. The Cool Grey City of Love is alive and well. You just have to know where to dig. And there's much to dig in to.

Join me and Aaron. As we take a trek around town.

That is all. No more questions at this time,
