With so many great musicians descending on our town for the annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival the same weekend, maybe I’ll get a stunt double to play my guitar for me. That way I can concentrate on my real gift: dancing.

It’s all coming together now.

————————————————————————————————————-

Stephie Finch quietly put an end to her recording hiatus a couple weeks ago at Decibelle Recording in Noe Valley. Kelley Stoltz, Rusty Miller, JJ Wiesler, and yours truly gathered to cut new songs. http://www.theconnextion.com/index.cfm?ArtistID=174&NoFrame=Yes

——————————————————————————————————

This CD - with artwork created by hand on letterpress by Bruce Licher of Savage Republic and Scenic fame - is quite literally one of a kind. Only 1000 copies were created and it will remain that way. They are numbered individually. 500 copies are available. They include photographs and a chapbook detailing the recording.

The bizarre practice of re-makes is not limited to Hollywood behavior. It’s a growing sickness we may never completely understand. In order to survive stories must be retold. The whole story here with pics: http://www.brink.com/content/2275/Waylon+Are+You+Pissed.html
