We’ll be playing a string of West Coast dates with Garland in April!!! More on that below.
About some upcoming shows: We’re headed to Texas this weekend for shows in Dallas and Austin. Two nights at the Continental is Austin. And dig this: EARLY SHOW AND LATE SHOW ON SATURDAY.
Plus there are solo shows coming. One with my old friend, the “Cole Porter of Punk Rock,” Dr. Frank at Armando’s in Martinez. Then it’s off to the Midwest for a four-day run.
Then, in April, the above-mentioned West Coast Tour with GARLAND JEFFREYS. The Mission Express will be backing him up. We’re excited about it. What can I tell you about Garland? I was toying with a testimonial approach. Not sure how to do it. “Hi, I’m Chuck and this is my Garland story!” How I lost 30 pounds eating lunch with tech bros. What else? Also, at the Great American Music Hall show you’ll want to get there early to see Thee Commons. A very cool BURGER RECORDS psychedelic cumbia-punk trio from East LA.
