We got gigs: Peter Buck’s Todos Santos festival. Also, this Sunday in Martinez, Ca.

Plus Jayhawks support dates over there and more. . . .

Some shows seem ready to announce themselves. I just can’t make them straighten up and fly right. Peter Buck, of Baseball Project (and R.E.M.) fame has invited me to play at his festival in Todos Santos, Baja California on January 21st. Come on down. Bring a surf board—I’m taking mine.

In February I’ll be heading back “over there” (Sweden, Norway, Holland, UK) to support the Jayhawks. Solo, but hey! Surfing, in Scotland? They do it you know.

And soon, Temple Beautiful will be available for pre-sale. And then we’ll really start ramping up into high gear with e-mail blasts. Get ready to be confused by indecipherable “bundles” and “Deluxe Packaging”. We working on that now. So if anyone has any ideas “outside the cage” please pass ‘em on. They will be contemplated deep into the night. For now, we’re thinking about an invite-only exclusive walking tour of San Francisco hosted by our own Ranger, John “I was born an urban park ranger!” Murry. Picture this: John Murry in a tuxedo, handing out freebies. He’s a dark guy. Be prepared: our motto, scouts.
